50km – R310 (CSA Sanctioned)

30km – R250 (CSA Sanctioned)
Think 30km is a breeze? Brace yourself for the Nanaga MTB – it’s not just a ride; it’s a pulse-pounding adventure that redefines what 30km on two wheels truly means! New to the MTB scene and unsure if it’s your terrain? Dive into the world of dirt and discover the heart-pounding excitement of mountain biking at The Nanaga MTB 15km Race! It’s not just a ride; it’s your ticket to unraveling the thrill and discovering what MTB is truly made of. Join us for a trail-blazing adventure where every pedal stroke is a step into the extraordinary – because the Nanaga MTB 15km is where the dirt becomes your playground, and the excitement is limitless! (Exact distance 14,8km with 290meter elevation gain)
5km – R60
Searching for a thrilling escapade for the little ones? Look no further! The 5km ride isn’t just a ride; it’s a FUN RIDE, where every participant is a champion! Bring your young adventurers to a world where the finish line isn’t just a destination but a celebration of triumph. The Nanaga MTB 5km is where the joy of riding meets the thrill of being a winner – because in our world, every little rider is a star! Get ready for an unforgettable ride filled with laughter, excitement, and the sheer joy of crossing the finish line as a Nanaga MTB champion!

*Cut Offs: We have no set cut offs in place, we do however reserve the right to remove you from the race if we deem it unsafe for you to proceed any further.
Rules and Regulations:
This is a CSA Sanctioned event and all CSA Relevant rules apply.
Link to CSA MTB Rules and Regulations. All riders need to have a CSA Licence or will need to take out a Day Licence at a cost of R50.
By entering The Nanaga MTB you warrant that you are in good health and have no physical condition that would endanger your life while on this experience.
Whilst reasonable precaution will be taken by The Nanaga MTB Team to ensure your safety, you understand that as a participant, you take part at your own risk. The Nanaga MTB Team will not be held liable for any injury or death arising from participating at this experience or for any loss of or damage to your property occurring in the course of the experience.
In consideration of The Nanaga MTB allowing you to participate in the experience, you undertake that if, in the course of the experience, you deliberately or negligently cause any injury (whether fatal or otherwise) to any person or any damage to or loss of any property of any person, you shall indemnify The Nanaga MTB Team if that suffering person makes claims or takes actions against The Nanaga MTB Team or The Nanaga MTB Team has to pay for costs or expenses.
*You represent that you are at least 18 years of age.
Important Notice
If you are not registered within the allocated time frame for Registration, you will not be allowed to race.
Race briefing is important and should be respected and adhered to.
Tandems as well as E-Bikes are welcome.
Make sure your sealant is topped up as this area is known for some thorns.
No refunds will be allowed.
In the case of the event being cancelled (24 days prior to the event date) a refund of 50% will be allowed.
Weather is out of our control and in the case of the event being affected by bad weather, the necessary calls will be made to ensure the safety of all riders.

“Choose your heart rate” was our tagline. Using the profiles of the events. What a concept. For ever more my heart misses a beat when I try to conceptualize a life without WB being a part of it. The dictionary is filled with big words that would describe him but that was not his style. He was my best friend and a brother from another mother, keep the coffee warm WB. We can all adapt a great way to look at life, The “WBW” which stands for the Werner Buchner Way. Be brave enough to forge your own path in life and don’t worry about the “nae sayers.”
