WB WAY

WERNER BUCHNER WAY

A Gentleman, husband, father, brother, friend but truly so much more.  You really can’t explain in words the man that he was. The MTB without Werner would never of happened. Endless time was spent in planning, the routes, the concept, the first year plan to a vision of what could happen in 5 years. Behind the scenes conversations with companies and riders across the country. When opportunities presented themselves WB was there, mind you most of the opportunities he created.

“Choose your heart rate” was our tagline. Using the profiles of the events. What a concept. For ever more my heart misses a beat when I try to conceptualize a life without WB being a part of it.  The dictionary is filled with big words that would describe him but that was not his style. He was my best friend and a brother from another mother, keep the coffee warm WB. We can all adapt a great way to look at life, The “WBW” which stands for the Werner Buchner Way. Be brave enough to forge your own path in life and don’t worry about the “nae sayers.”
